War Hero, bought out of a claimer in Ireland is the first Bart & James O’Sullivan owned race horse, a dream that never thought would have been realised. That night was to come on the 24th January in the 7f handicap at Dundalk. Ridden by Declan McDonogh. He lead early, tracked leaders and produced a great run in off the bend to win by a length from the highly rated San Andreas.
